PRODUCER JAYWAN LANDS DISTRO DEAL W/UNIVERSAL


New York, NY, June 8, 2010: BMI Publishing (Broadcast Music Incorporated) and Divine Management are pleased to announce that hip hop producer Jaywan has secured a six figure distribution deal with Universal Music Group for his newly created Jaywan Inc. production company. In addition to his distribution deal, Jaywan will also produce tracks for current Universal artists and serve as A&R for future projects as well. This distribution deal comes on the heels of producing the new Jim Jones single Gift of God (set to be released through Byrd Gang/E1) and two unspecified tracks off Young Jeezy's new album Thug Motivation 103.

 Universal Republic Executive Vice President Cameo Carlson was on hand to congratulate Jaywan on his accomplishments and future success."I am excited to work with Universal, Cameo and their whole team of music professionals, as we share the same vision for Jaywan Inc. and strive to make major moves in the industry moving forward" added Jaywan. Producer Jaywan has enjoyed both critical and commercial success throughout his career, changing music, culture, and perceptions while always remaining true to himself and his vision.; Jaywan began his career creating groundbreaking music as a dj at some of Atlanta and Chicago hottest and most influential nightclubs.

 He moved on to produce tracks for Gucci Mane, Swazy Baby, JW, Paul Wall, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Trey Songz, Twista, Jim Jones, CamRon, Young Jeezy, and many others.
